Tokens are not a currency, they are a pricing interface. Once you understand the small number of variables involved, comparing platforms becomes straightforward arithmetic.
The three numbers that matter
- Pack price: what you pay for the smallest purchasable token bundle.
- Tokens per minute: the performer's private-show rate expressed in tokens.
- Token value drift: whether larger packs give a better token rate, and by how much.
Cost per minute is (pack price ÷ tokens in pack) × tokens per minute. Everything else, including bonus tokens and promotions, is a discount on that number and should be treated as temporary.

Why per-minute billing can be cheaper than it looks
Platforms billed by the minute typically charge more per minute than a token platform's equivalent, but they remove two costs: unused token balances and the tendency to tip beyond intent in public rooms. If you buy small token packs repeatedly, a per-minute platform is often the lower total spend.
Practical rules
- Never buy a large pack on an untested platform.
- Divide every pack down to cost per minute before comparing.
- Ignore bonus tokens when comparing platform economics.
- Check whether unused tokens expire.
