How the commission works

When you click a “Visit Platform” button, you are routed through our own /go/ redirect to the partner. If you then register or make a purchase, the partner may pay us a share of that revenue. The rate varies by partner and by agreement.

What is firewalled from scoring

• Commission rates are stored on the affiliate program record, never on the platform record.
• The scoring module has no access to affiliate data. This is enforced in code and covered by a test.
• A platform with no affiliate program at all is scored and ranked identically to one with a program.
• We do not accept payment to change a score, a ranking position, a “best for” label or a review conclusion.

Editorial independence

Our revenue depends on readers trusting our data. A ranking that could be bought would destroy the only asset we have. If a partner ever asks us to adjust a score, we decline and record the request.

Your control

You can avoid all affiliate tracking by navigating directly to a platform using its official URL, which we publish on every review page. Our comparison data remains fully usable either way.
