How to keep control of your spending, and where to get help.

BestCamIndex exists to help you make an informed choice. It is not designed to keep you on the site or to increase how much you spend. We deliberately do not use countdown timers, fake scarcity, artificial urgency, notifications designed to pull you back, or gamified spending loops.

Keeping control

  1. Decide your budget before you open a platform, not inside a session.
  2. Buy the smallest pack first on any new platform.
  3. Avoid saving payment details on a platform for one-off use.
  4. Check your statement monthly for unfamiliar descriptors.
  5. Take a break if you notice longer or more frequent sessions than intended.

Signs it is becoming a problem

  • Spending more than you planned, repeatedly.
  • Hiding your usage from people close to you.
  • Spending money you need for essentials.
  • Using sessions to manage stress, loneliness or low mood.
  • Feeling unable to stop when you want to.

Where to get help

Gambling and compulsive-spending support services in many countries also help with online spending that has become compulsive. Look for a national helpline in your country, or speak to your doctor. If a platform offers a self-exclusion or deposit-limit feature, use it.
